The Department of Mechanical Engineering, JCT College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized a Guest Lecture entitled “DESIGN OF MACHINE ELEMENTS “on 31.08.2023 for imparting fundamental knowledge on Design attributes used in Industries. Mr.D.AnandaKumar, AP/Mech delivered the welcome address and Mr.R.Mahendran,AP/Mech invited the Chief Guest. The resource person had given an importance and significance of design and its impact on Industries. He emphasized the importance of “DESIGN OF MACHINE ELEMENTS” in Mechanical Engineering Subjects and the basic parameters of design. He also shared the importance of Stress-Strain Diagram and various types of stresses induced. Totally, more than 60 students and 12 faculty members attended the programme. Dr.G.Mahesh, Professor & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
