JCT College of Engineering and Technology (JCTCET), along with JCT Polytechnic College (JCTPC) grandly organized a ‘Mega Job Fair 2018’ at its premises on 14th, July 2018 from 09.00a.m. to 05.00 p.m. This Job fair was aimed at providing job opportunities to unemployed youths. Job fair witnessed participation of around 1500 graduates and over 35 reputed companies.

The programme that commenced with a prayer song was followed by lighting of Kuthuvillaku.Dr. K. Rameshwaran, Director, JCT Group of Institutions inaugurated the Job Fair 2018 and inspired young job seekers by his motivational address. Dr. G.Ramesh, Principal of JCTCET presided over the function. Welcome speech and Vote of Thanks were presented by the placement team.

The Job Fair made an impact among the graduates. Young graduates have not only got jobs but also received a plethora of ideas and guidance from Human Resource personnel. Candidates from disciplines like Engineering, Diploma, Arts and Science were at the peak of their enthusiasm to see 35 companies under one roof. A little more than 511 students were selected by the various companies and they all received their ‘Appointment Orders’ from the respective HR personnel the same evening itself. In short, the event was a grand success and the college received a very positive feedback from both the candidates and the companies who participated in this fair
